Swansea University Students’ Union has finally unveiled an overhauled website, as promised by the newly elected president in his manifesto.
Lewys Aron, who was elected president of the student union in late June, pledged the launch of a refreshed version of the website following negativity associated with it.
The new design, which has gone live today, sports a clearer interface so that students can easily navigate around and has wiped out past lags and bugs.
Lewys said: “I’m delighted to have fulfilled my first manifesto commitment and to finally give students the level of web service they deserve.
“It’s now easier than ever to join a sports club or society and to easily access information regarding the Students’ Union.
“This early win for students shows that I’m serious about my manifesto commitments and am fully committed to listening to concerns and to improving student experience.”
